Point Brewery

Points of Interest
  • The Point Brewery- In 1857, George Ruder and Frank Wahle settled in the middle of Wisconsin and opened the Ruder and Wahle Brewery in a small predominantly Polish/German town later to be known as Stevens Point. The brewery was one of 5 operating in town but during Prohibition many closed. The brewery continued to produce NA-beer. It is the only brewery to survive over the years and is now known as the Stevens Point Brewery. This makes the brewery only one of a few Wisconsin-owned and independently operated breweries for nearly 150 years. This also makes it the oldest operating business in Stevens Point. They have many great beers and festivals with sampling tours offered daily, year round. Stevens Point Brewery, 2617 Water Street, Stevens Point, Wisconsin 54481.
